Training

To ensure the Shop equipment and supplies are used safely and appropriately, students are given the opportunity to undergo training throughout the school year.  As students take part in the creation of various projects offered through coursework and after school "make days", they eventually become "experts" on individual pieces of equipment.  Expert status is recognized with badges specific to each piece of equipment.  This badge must always be shown to the supervising adult in the space before equipment may be used.
